Filan is a small, family-run company. We own the homes we rent — and because we plan to keep them for a long time, we take care of them.
That means clean, well-kept buildings, repairs that actually get done, and a real person to talk to when you need something. We rent homes in British Columbia and Alberta, and we've grown slowly and on purpose — one good building at a time. Today we own and manage 24 rental units across 7 properties.
Our Alberta homes — Killarney in Edmonton and Boreal in Leduc — are looked after by Mint Property Management, a licensed property manager led by Bradley Scott. You'll always know who to call, and your requests won't get lost.

Well-maintained homes
We own for the long term, so we keep our buildings in good shape — inside the suite and around the property.
Quality renovations
We don't renovate every suite — but when we do, we do it right: updated kitchen and bath, new flooring, and a clean, comfortable place to live.
A clean, fresh start
Before you move in, your home is professionally cleaned, the carpets are professionally shampooed, and everything is repaired and in good working order.
